A big thank you to Paul and Erin’s Isle who organised for the Sam Maguire to come to the school today, 12th December. Lots of children wore jerseys to celebrate the event, and everyone got to see the cup in the hall.

The school teams also had a chance to have their photo taken alongside Sam Maguire.

Up the Dubs!

Well done to our girls football team won the GAA Garda Blitz in Eirns Isle last week. Here is a report from Mariya about it:

“We were at the GAA Blitz in Eirns Isle.

We played five matches and won all five of them, including the final! Ella W was captain and everyone played really well. We all got a medal and we also got a big trophy.

There were 5 girls from fifth class, 4 from fourth class and 1 3rd class on the team. There were a few injuries but other than that we were alright.  We had a great time and we all had a lot of fun.

Miss Fanning took a few pictures of us with the cup. Caoimhe’s sister was there with her mom and grandad. She was really cute!

Everyone said it was the best day ever, but most of all we got the cup!!

Extra Curricular Awards!

19/06/2015

A big well done, and congratulations to all the children who took part in extra curricular activities this year. Thank you to the teachers who volunteered to run these clubs after school in their own free time. Activities included: Boys Gaelic Football, Girls Gaelic Football, Girls Camogie, Tag Rugby, Basketball, Drama Club, Book Club and Athletics.

Remember, by joining a local club outside of school you will become healthier, fitter and it will improve how you play on the school team too, not to mention all the fun you will have in taking part and meeting new people. Below are some photographs of our teams

Our Day At Croke Park

05/11/2013

Well done to our Boys’ Gaelic Football Team who played in Croke Park yesterday, November 4th. They played against The Virgin Mary, Ballymun. It was a great game! We all were so proud at how well the boys played and how skillful they were! Unfortunately they lost the final, but the school still thinks they were winners for getting so far, and for showing such great school spirit. Well done to all involved: the teachers who trained them, Mr Bourke and Mr O’Sullivan, the parents for their support and to Mrs Fahy and the Board of Management and Parents’ Association who funded the bus journeys for all the children from 2nd to 6th to attend.
