Nicola Pierce at Finglas Library
Today, fifth class went to Finglas Library to hear Nicola Pierce speak about her book “The Spirit of the Titanic”. Nicola told us all about the main character Samuel Scott, who died at 15 years of age while building the Titanic. She also told us about some of the other characters and how she did the research for her book. She also gave us some good tips for writing.
We really enjoyed listening to Nicola today.

I like the book so far but it’s a bit hard and it has a lot of long words in it and hi everyone
