Mrs. Lawlor and Mrs. O'Reilly on their retirement in 1990. Between them they kept the entire school in pristine condition for decades and they are fondly remembered by generations of pupils. In the picture are Sr. Kathleen, principal of the Senior School and Sr. Benen, principal of the Infant School.

MDG pupils were winners of the best school trophy and many individual awards in the DunLaoghaire Drama Festival in 1995, 1996,1997 and 1998.

It is hard to believe now but at the beginning of the 1990s we were still using BBC computers, floppy disk drives and dot matrix printers!

MDG pupils were at press photoshoots for the Tesco Computers for Schools campaign and for the launch of the Eircom Information Age CDRom.

The Dissolving Boundaries Project Started in 1999 with video conferences and web links with other schools in the North of Ireland.




The choir sang in many school concerts and were also involved in the Halleluia Chorus at the Point Depot.
